This policy describes how we process personal data of B4ME portal users. Data that a customer organisation enters into its own platform environment about its clients and partners is processed by us only as a processor, under the Data Processing Terms: https://b4me.lv/tenant-agreement/dpa
1. WHAT DATA WE PROCESS
1.1. Account data: name, surname, e-mail address, phone (if provided), organisation and role in it.
1.2. Usage data: login times, IP address, browser information, activity logs (audit records for security purposes).
1.3. Billing data: invoice and payment information. Payment card data is not stored by us — it is processed by the payment service provider.
1.4. Communication data: our correspondence and support requests.
2. PURPOSES AND LEGAL BASIS
2.1. Providing the services and maintaining the account — performance of a contract (the Terms of Service).
2.2. Invoicing and accounting — legal obligation.
2.3. Security, abuse prevention, audit logs — our legitimate interests.
2.4. Service notices (changes, security, invoices) — performance of a contract.
2.5. Marketing messages about our services — legitimate interests, with the right to opt out at any time (in each message or by writing to info@b4me.lv).
3. RETENTION
3.1. Account data is kept for as long as the account exists and up to 90 days after its closure.
3.2. Accounting source documents are kept for the period required by law (generally 5 years).
3.3. Security and audit logs are kept for a limited time appropriate to their purpose.
4. WHO DATA MAY BE DISCLOSED TO
4.1. Infrastructure and service providers (hosting, data storage, e-mail delivery, payment processing) acting under contract and only on our instructions.
4.2. Public authorities where required by law.
4.3. Data is stored in the EU/EEA; transfers outside it take place only with the safeguards provided by the GDPR.
5. YOUR RIGHTS
5.1. To access your data, rectify it, request erasure or restriction of processing, object to processing, and receive your data in a portable format.
5.2. Send requests to info@b4me.lv — we respond within one month.
5.3. You have the right to lodge a complaint with the Data State Inspectorate of Latvia: https://www.dvi.gov.lv
6. COOKIES
6.1. The portal uses session and security cookies necessary for its operation, as well as cookies for saving preferences. A cookie consent choice is offered on the portal.
7. CHANGES
7.1. Changes to this policy are published on this page with their effective date; we notify material changes by e-mail. All versions are stored permanently.
